The 2026 season comes to a close for LCCC Baseball after falling to Terra State and Owens Community College on Wednesday. The Commodores bounced back with a strong year of growth and progress under first-year Head Coach Jake Solomon and crew. ⚓️

The Commodores finished with 15 wins — a seven-game improvement from last season and the most wins by an LCCC varsity baseball team since joining the NJCAA.

⚾️POSTSEASON PLAY IS HERE!

The No. 4 seeded Commodores 🌊 head to Sports Force Parks for the NJCAA Region 12 Tournament tomorrow, Wednesday May 6, 2026.

LCCC takes on No. 1 Terra State Community College in a 9-inning matchup, with the winner advancing to face the winner of Owens Community College vs. Delta College.

The Commodores battled through a four-game series with Hocking on Saturday and Sunday, earning a split highlighted by Jackson Frame’s standout weekend — tossing a complete game in the finale and blasting three home runs 💪⚓️

LCCC Baseball split a four-game series with Terra State over the weekend 🌊

After being shut out in the opener, the Commodores bounced back with a win in the suspended game and a comeback walk-off victory in Game 3 before falling in a tight finale.

LCCC is now 13-23 overall (3-5 Region 12) — their most wins since 2018.

Sunday also marked Sophomore Day as LCCC recognized Jackson Frame, Jacob Sanders, Nick Schuster, and Jadon Tucker.

🔹 Tucker battled back from a freshman-year injury to appear in 27 career games, committing just one error this season while hitting .294. He will continue at Miami Middletown.
🔹 Schuster made 20 appearances (15 starts), totaling 61 strikeouts over 84.2 innings with three complete games.
🔹 Sanders started at second base for two seasons, playing in 72 games with 24 stolen bases.
🔹 Frame has been a consistent force at the plate, hitting .341 with a .950 OPS, 60 hits, and 44 RBIs in 70 career games.
