☀️🎄 Week One of Summer Camp is officially in the books! 🎄☀️

Our campers absolutely crushed our "Castaway Christmas Camping" theme this week! We kicked off the summer with the perfect mix of holiday cheer and island adventure.

Here’s a look at what we got up to:
🛶 Practiced our kayaking skills
🧢 Designed custom camper hats
⛺️ Decorated our tents for Santa’s arrival
🫙 Crafted messages in a bottle
🏃‍♂️ Raced in beach relays & hunted for ocean treasure
🕺 Rocked out at a Christmas music dance party!

Thank you to all our amazing campers for making the first week so unforgettable. We can't wait to see what week two brings!

Today officially marked the last day of the 2025–26 school year.

We want to extend a huge thank you to our incredible students, dedicated staff, and wonderful families for making this year so memorable. We are so incredibly proud of how much our students have grown.

☀️💦 Therapalooza 2026 was a massive success! 🎈🪁

We just wrapped up our annual two-day event, and it was filled with pure joy, sunshine, and tons of outdoor fun. From cooling off with water games to watching kites soar, our students had the absolute best time!

It was incredibly special having many parents come out to help and share these moments with their students. We love our school family! 🫶

🏰 A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Fawn's Party Rentals! They generously donated the huge bounce house that was easily one of the biggest highlights. Community partners like you make all the difference!

Building bridges and creating connections! 🤝

We are so grateful to the 4th grade classes at Open Door Christian Schools for dedicating their annual service project to our wing. Because of their hard work, our OT therapy office now has 10 brand-new sensory bins to support students building-wide.

The highlight of the project? Having 62 of these awesome students visit us at Murray Ridge School last week! Our teachers set up special activities, and the day was filled with smiles, new friendships, and a beautiful spirit of inclusion. 🌈✨

Today was preschool graduation! 🎓✨

We are so incredibly proud of all our little learners.

Some of these smiling faces will be back in preschool next year for more adventures, and some are officially spreading their wings and moving up to kindergarten! Watching them grow, learn, and play has been the absolute best.

🏁🏎️ AND THEY’RE OFF! 🏎️🏁

This past Friday, the engines were roaring and the excitement was at an all-time high for our annual Murray Ridge 500!

Our talented students and staff went all out, decorating custom racing cars with incredible, creative classroom themes. The entire school community gathered around the circle for a spectacular parade to show off everyone's hard work, followed by some high-energy, friendly competition out on the track! 🏆✨

To keep our racers and fans fueled, we cooled down with a delicious lemonade and ice cream stand serving up refreshments for everyone. 🍋🍦
