Reading to children is so very important! It expands their vocabulary and improves their listening and communication skills. Reading helps children process their big emotions and and helps them understand how others feel. Reading can transport children to new worlds! Reading ignites their imagination! We love when Elyria Public Library visits Tiny Town! We are so very proud of our Curiosity Corner kiddos !

Juneteenth is more than just a day or a single historical event – it’s a celebration of freedom and resilience. A joyful recognition of the perseverance and spirit of Black people in this nation! Never give up hope!

Today we celebrate freedom, reflect on our nation’s history, and honor the resilience and contributions of those who endured slavery. Juneteenth commemorates the day enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the end of the Civil War.

As we celebrate this important holiday, we encourage families to take a moment to learn about its meaning and significance. Please see the attached image for more information about Juneteenth and the Juneteenth flag.

At Tiny Town Elyria, we believe healthy habits shape healthy minds. 🧠🍎🥦💪

We teach our kiddos how nutritious foods fuel their bodies and support stronger focus, better moods, and growing brains — and we love sharing that knowledge with our families too.

A huge thank you to Elyria Nutrition for providing free, nutritious drinks to all of our staff, parents, and kiddos who joined us on the field trip!! Your generosity means so much to our Tiny Town community. We highly recommend them as a go‑to spot for a healthy treat or quick, on‑the‑go meal, and they offer great kid‑friendly options! ☺️

It’s a bittersweet moment for us as we say goodbye to a family who has been with us since Tiny Town Elyria first opened!! ❤️

Watching you three grow, learn, and become the amazing little people they are has been such a joy.

We will miss your family so much and are cheering you on as you start this next chapter.
