CHILD PSYCHOLOGY. An international phenomena, teenage girls are turning themselves into real living dolls, as inspired by the Japanese anime culture. Becoming a Barbie Doll; is this just another instance of s*xualizing little girls, as beauty contests for 5-year olds, or little girls patterning themselves on Madonna, Lady Gaga, Twiggy, Marilyn Monroe? Ohio State Sen. Nina Turner joins women across country striking back, introducing bills to regulate. Turner has introduced legislation which requires a man who wants an erectile dysfunction drug to, among other things, provide his doctor with a notarized affidavit -- from at least one s*x partner -- that says he's had symptoms in the previous 90 days.

Respondent Conditioning: The process by which a previously neutral stimulus acquires the capacity to elicit a response through association with a stimulus that already elicits a similar or related response; also called Pavlovian or classical conditioning. Respondent conditioning deals with the conditioning of reflexive (reflex) behaviors which are elicited by antecedent conditions.

A Parrot Who Passed the Operant Conditioning 101
Operant Conditioning: The process by which a response becomes more likely to occur or less so, depending on its positive/reward or negative/punishment consequences. Operant conditioning deals with the modification of "voluntary behavior" or operant behavior. Operant behavior "operates" on the environment and is maintained by its consequences. How time effect learning: The more immediate a consequence is determines the effectiveness of the consequence.
