We were happy to honor 24 little graduates today. Each one is incredibly precious, and our staff is praying for them, their families and the amazing futures that God has in store for each. We pray that they have been encouraged to - be curious about the world around them; learned that it’s okay to make mistakes because that’s how we grow and learn; empowered that they can do things that are hard and make an impact on our world regardless of their age; to find joy in learning new things. Most of all, we pray they have learned of God’s great love for each of them. Thank you for the blessing of sharing your most priceless treasures with us. Please feel free to still reach out to utilize us as a resource, and know we would be happy to support you and your children well beyond their preschool experience. We love receiving invitations to attend games, plays, recitals and the like!

May our littles always know -
They are strong. They are brave. They are smart. They are special. They are loved with an everlasting love.

Our Father has a plan for each, and a purpose only they can fulfill. We pray they are surrounded by those that would encourage them, see each for the amazing people they already are, and support to help them in becoming all that He would have them be.

Our hearts are full of pride in each one. And, yes, they’re ALL my favorites. ❤️

Due to predicted storms, preschool graduation will be at French Creek Reservation (4530 Colorado Ave. in Sheffield) at 10:30am. 🎓

Our last day was very bittersweet. Both classes decorated their caps for graduation. Mrs. Chambers’ class had requested certain items for a “Yes Day” from options of painting with watercolors and painting with cars, to choosing their own seats and snack (where ice cream was an option). They had also requested time outdoors, and they got to have each of those things they requested. We’ll look forward to gathering with families to celebrate these littles that stole our hearts in the morning.

Both classes made butterfly sun catchers today, and we released our live butterflies outside. Like our little ones - some quickly flew away, and others hovered close for a bit before heading off. God’s plan for each is unique, and we all have our own paths to follow. Mrs. Chambers’ class made rain sticks during free choice, and read two books to her class - You’re All My Favorites and I Believe in You. We practiced our affirmations and also for graduation.

The Summer Reading Program at EPL begins soon! Remember our kick-off event will be Tuesday, May 28 at 4 - 7 p.m. at EPL West River with the Barnyard Petting Zoo, balloon animal artist, mini golf, activities, crafts and more. Sign up for Summer Reading, too! We hope to see you there!

Our hearts are full after our family petting zoo night. We hope everyone had fun!

Due to the weather forecast, we’re switching the petting zoo to Saturday from 5:30-8:30pm in the parking lot at Emmanuel Lutheran. We hope to see as many as possible there!

Today we worked on more surprises for grown-ups, read the book Yes Day, and made a list of some items we would like to do for a Yes Day next week before graduation. We also got to have one of those items today - a choose your own snack day! Our class also chose some favorite big room games for our last few days. Today we played a seasons four corners game in big room. Oh, and we snuck in a beginning sounds by picture paper!
