Our classrooms got a BIG refresh!

Our teachers have been hard at work getting everything ready for the new school year! During our Professional Development Day, the teachers completely emptied their classrooms, moving everything into the muscle room so they could give their spaces a deep and top-to-bottom clean!

They spent the day scrubbing the walls, baseboards, bathrooms, cabinets, and windows, while also making sure every toy and classroom item was cleaned and sanitized.

The floors were also freshly waxed and are looking brand new!

Today, our teachers came back in and worked hard putting their classrooms back together for the new school year.

Swipe through to see the before and after transformation!

We are so excited for our families to come see the classrooms and all the hard work our teachers have put into making them ready for a wonderful new school year!

This week we kickstarted the nice warm weather with a fun summer themed spirit week. Each day was a different theme for everyone to dress up as. The themes were as follows:

Monday - Wear blue or your favorite ocean themed outfit and your favorite pool float!

Tuesday - Brighten up our day! Wear something yellow or cheerful and sunny!

Wednesday - Show us you are to cool for school and rock you favorite sunglasses and hats!

Thursday - Celebrate summer by wearing red, white, and blue!

Friday - Wear tropical prints or bright and summer clothes! Aloha vibes all day!!

We loved seeing everyone rock their fun summer gear! We are looking forward to continuing to enjoy this warm weather.

Park Place had such a fun and memorable Teacher Appreciation Week! We’re so grateful for our amazing administration, families, and PAC. Your support truly means so much to us!!

This year’s Game Night theme was a hit! Mrs. Amy, with help from Mrs. Crystal, transformed the muscle room into a space full of jumbo games for staff to enjoy. Throughout the week, staff also competed in daily games for prizes for some friendly competition.

Staff were also spoiled with delicious treats all week long. Staff were treated to a build-your-own taco bar and a build-your-own sub bar, and pizza party with chips and soda. To top it all off, the PAC treated the staff to Red Robin burgers on Friday! Staff also enjoyed plenty of tasty donuts from their amazing parents throughout the week as well. Mrs. Sharon also made beautiful matching shirts for the teachers as well.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this week so special for our staff—we truly felt appreciated! We want to also wish you a Happy Mother’s day this weekend!
