Family Connects Ohio offers LCPHlicensed registered nurses who can visit your home in the first few weeks after birth to:
-Check your baby’s growth, vitals, and overall health
-Support feeding, sleep, and daily routines
-Give guidance on maternal recovery and emotional well-being
-Connect families with additional healthcare or community resources
-Available to all Lorain County families with newborns

LCCAA’s Community Connections Program helps low-income families keep their utility costs low.

Ohio Edison customers can receive a free energy audit from LCCAA partner Greener Home Contracting. After assessing assessments on refrigerators and freezers, the program replaces the appliances if needed.

The program also offers energy efficient light bulbs for all fixtures in the client’s home. GHC’s Josh Rotert and LCCAA Program Assistant Breanna Wade are pictured loading light bulbs for upcoming clients.

To be eligible, clients must reside in Lorain County and live at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Line AND be a customer of Ohio Edison.
