Sadaesha began as a GED student June 2023 attending classes at the Ohiomeansjobs Lorain County With 230 hours of dedication under her belt, Sadaesha earned her GED August 2025!

“I view earning my GED as proof of my determination and commitment to achieving my goals. Earning my GED buillt my academic confidence and motivated me to pursue my dream career in film. I want to develop strong storytelling and production skills while working on projects that are both creative and meaningful. Every Aspire Student Success Story is unique and inspiring. Meet Raven Bell!
Raven joined LCCC Aspire’s Adult Diploma Program June 2025. After 6 weeks of studying, Bell completed the State Test Nurse Assistant course and exam! With a 12 on the WorkKeys Exam and her industry recognized credential complete, Raven successfully earned an Adult Diploma!

“Achieving this milestone showed me that I’m capable of overcoming challenges and reaching difficult goals, even after setbacks. My goal is to become a phlebotomist, using it as a strong starting point for long-term growth in healthcare. I am currently attending LCCC, completing required coursework, and preparing to License Practical Nursing Program.”-Raven

Every Aspire Student Success Story is unique and inspiring. Meet Karissa Bonilla- Alvarez! Karissa joined GED Prep Courses at the LCCC Elyria Campus in March 2024. After 120 hours of dedicated studying, Karissa successfully earned her GED March 2026!

“Growing up, I had a hard time retaining information which made learning difficult. At age 35, I returned to school and gained more than academic skills but confidence too! Along my academic journey, I became a Certified Customer Service and Sales Specialist by taking the free 6 Week Rise Up Course offered by Aspire. This was my sixth attempt at completing my GED, and I am proud to say I will be on the graduation stage June 2026!”- Karissa

We are thrilled to introduce our newly certified Customer Service and Sales Specialists who completed our 6 week Rise Up Customer Service and Sales course! Each student gained a wealth of expertise, confidence to engage customers and deliver exceptional customer service!

Congratulations to our Certified Customer Service and Sales Specialist: Aretha Cummings, Asia Pierro, Dionte Brantley, Jessica Rojas, Lola Casey, Teka Jones, and Karissa Bonilla-Alvarez!

LCCC students and community members can join Rise Up, a Certified Customer Service and Sales course with the National Retail Federation course, and earn an industry credential!The Rise Up Customer Service is 6-Week hybrid course that guides our students through vital employability skills, and teaches them how to be a great salesperson! Our next course will be held every Thursday LCCC Lorain Learning Center beginning April 16th, 2026 from 5pm-8pm!

This course is completely FREE! The cost of tuition, book, exam, and a exam retake are all covered. For questions, or to enroll call LCCC Aspire at 4403664530.

Paraprofessionals are vital school staff who support teachers and assist students. This training prepares you for a paraprofessional career and the ParaPro licensure exam.

Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday 9Am-1PM May 7th 2026- June 12th, 2026 To participate in this FREE 6 week training, you must attend orientation.

Orientation will be: (Attend One Session)
Option #1: April 16, 2026, Thursday, at 9:30am - 12:30pm
Option #2: April 17, 2026, Friday, at 9:30am - 12:30pm
Option #3 April 30, 2026, Thursday, at 9:30am - 12:30pm
