Can your toddler sing a major scale? Right now in our Sound Beginnings class (0-4) we are working on singing a major scale, signing it with solfege, and identifying it by sound. 🤯 Seriously. And the best part is - it's a party learning! 🎉

Play is important!

Research has shown that the more senses involved in the learning process, the more the concepts are internalized. So we use the eyes, ears, hands, and full body movements to learn concepts usually taught on paper!

Research has found that music has a role in brain development of the baby before birth. Exposure to music while in the womb is linked to significant improvement in the overall mental, cognizant, behavioral, sensory, psychological and emotional development in unborn babies, in comparison to those not exposed to any music while they were in the womb.🤰🍼🎶🎧

At around 16 to 18 weeks of pregnancy, the baby can hear its very first sound. By 24 weeks, the ears start to develop rapidly and babies have been shown to turn their heads in response to voices in the last few months of pregnancy. An unborn baby can recognize her mother’s voice, her native language, word patterns and rhymes.
