Brent Bennett (C’14) is in Rio de Janeiro this month producing videos for the official NBC Olympics Snapchat Discover Channel. He works for BuzzFeed Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, and is part of a team sent to Rio to create video content in partnership with NBC. A biology major while at Principia, Brent traveled on the Iceland Abroad and Performing Arts Abroad to Europe, studied at the Marine Sciences Education Consortium (MSEC) at the Duke University Marine Lab, and worked part-time on the video and tech crew for media services. "I'd like to thank Eric Lines and Mark Dearborn for being amazing mentors and friends,” Brent says, “Everything I know about content creation, I learned from them."
