Meet the Staff: TEHRA ANDERSON

Tehra is an Assistant Teacher to both the 🦋 Butterflies (2 yr. olds) and 🐝 Bees (1 yr. olds). These Littles daily flutter and buzz around as they dart from one place to another, but Tehra is also quick 🏃‍♀️and nimble, a good quality when working with children.🧒🏻👦🏽

Tehra is no stranger to the activities of young people. She and her husband, Jon, are raising 4️⃣ daughters: Lily (18), Eva (15), Rozalee (11) and Serenity (9). The family also love their pets and share their home 🏠 with 6️⃣ cats: Anubis, Osiris, Tiki, Thor, Loki, Deisel 🐈🐈‍⬛🐱🐱🐈🐈‍⬛and 3️⃣chihuahuas: Butch, Faye, Meat. 🐕🐕🐕

Tehra enjoys Mexican🌮 and Italian🍝 food, baking👩‍🍳, and 🎶 singing. In her free time, you will find her reading 📖 or involved in her children’s sports; powerlifting🏋🏻‍♀️& volleyball🤾🏻‍♀️. She enjoys all genre of music🎵, but her favorites are Rock🤘 and Heavy 🎸Metal.

Tehra has been with Children’s Cottage since April, and we believe she is a rock solid choice as indicated by the following:
The Butterfly 🦋 group likes to search for “pretty rocks” 🪨 and they offer their special stones to Tehra, who has now invested in a Rock 🪨 Jar🫙 just for these precious “gifts.”😉🩷 We thank Tehra for her dedication to the little “gems” at Children’s Cottage. ⭐️
