Delta Delta Delta: Epsilon Delta, Elon University Tri Delta came to Elon in November of 2004. Tri Delta was founded on November 27, 1888 at Boston University.

Since then, our chapter has initiated more than 400 sisters, and we’ve continued the tradition of excellence that’s expected of a Tri Delta chapter. Our founding sisters, Sarah Ida Shaw, Eleanor Dorcus Pond, Isabelle Morgan Breed and Morgan Isabelle Stewart wanted to begin a women’s group based on different principles than the two sororities already on campus. They said, "Let us found a society th

at shall be kind alike to all and think more of a girl's inner self and character than of her personal appearance." Since then, more than 238,000 women have become members of this unique sisterhood in more than 180 chapters internationally, making Tri Delta the third largest Women’s Fraternity in the National Panhellenic Conference.
