Elnora Bible Institute

We are an unaccredited post-high school Bible Institute and operate under the auspices of the Biblical Mennonite Alliance.

Elnora Bible Institute is a truth-based Institute committed to helping youth and adults learn what they need to know in order to survive in the world of ideas ever present in this age. The institute began in 2000 under the name Biblical Mennonite Alliance Bible Institute. The first two years of operation, the institute offered one three week term. In 2002, the institute began offering six-week terms. The 2000-2003 terms were held in local churches in South Carolina, Indiana, Virginia, and Ohio. In 2002, a public school building in Elnora, Indiana was purchased. Dorms were built in 2003, and the first term in Elnora was held in 2004. In 2005, the institute began to offer two terms. The Institute formally adopted Elnora Bible Institute as its official name in the summer of 2008.

Our theme verses for this term come from Colossians 3: "And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Last weekend, the students took a break from their studies and, along with some of the staff, visited Spring Mills Park. They enjoyed a picnic, singing in a cave, and exploring God's beautiful creation.

This year, EBI is excited to welcome two new team members! Shane Snader and his family are from Soldotna, Alaska. He has taken on the role of Dean of Students, and works on maintenance projects in his spare time. Bethany Stoltzfus, from Lancaster, PA, has stepped into the secretarial role. She will manage general communication as well as work with administration on various tasks. We are grateful to have them both on our team.
