Next on the trip was The Homestead Festival in Columbia TN on Rory Feeks farm! This isn’t our first time going but first time taking the camper and it sure was worth it! Last time we flew and it was a headache with rental cars and places so stay. No we didn’t fly this year but I flew the day we left and the day we got back. In the jet both times so still busy but if you like the idea of homesteading, this is the place to go! Amazing event and always a blessing to attend! The concerts at night are amazing as well!

After the camping trip at Turkey Run I had a last minute trip to get maintenance done on the jet. This turned into a 4 day stay in Provo Utah. I had never been there and I love hiking so absolutely I’ll take this trip! Got a house in the mountains and hiked a lot of really cool trails, seen some amazing views, and just was in awe of Gods country! It was so amazing to see all of that with such low humidity and the weather was so beautiful! Not a bad day or night there! Mid 80s for the high, mid to high 50s for lows. Absolutely an amazing time! Had a storm roll through just before we departed for home on Friday. Amazing trip and look forward to doing it again! I got bigger mountains to hike next time! Bible study and devotion every morning in the mountains as the world wakes up is another level of intimacy with God. It was really a blessing.

This post does not have a lot to do with aviation but still encompasses Gods greatness. We went camping at Turkey Run over memorial weekend. Thursday through Monday with a lot of other couples from out church. It was such a great time! The kayak trips, hiking trips, and fellowship was so great! Phil King brought a very powerful msg Sunday morning reminding us to really reach out to others and know how they are doing and help people through hard times. As disciples of God we are called to bring others to Him. Even fellow Christian’s go through hard times but just be there for anyone. God will give you nudges to go talk to people in need. Don’t ignore them and keep in contact with them. I could go way more in depth on this but this post would be a mile long. Listen to God and what He is telling you to do and He will bless you abundantly!

The last 2 months have been crazy and May has been insane. Where did it go!?! I plan to make separate posts about all the adventures. Recurrent training started May off at flight safety in Tampa. It was great to connect with new instructors and learn more about the Citation M2! Made some great connections for any questions I have and also landed another part time gig! My single pilot jet limitations were removed from my ATP certificate and have been enjoying flying alone in the pilot seat! After training was over, my wife and I flew over to Stuart FL for a couple days to see her extended family! They gave us a tour of Jupiter Island to see some celebrities houses! It was a really good time. Was able to check out some fires on the way back and get IMC for smoke! It was a great trip blessed by God with great weather, a nice Airbnb to stay at and just a really great time.
God is good all the time!

Well i can’t say that this was the best trip in the world but the views Od let me see were amazing! Had to say a prayer for the New York controllers but we made it out of the airspace and home. God is good all the time. Whenever people rub you the wrong way the only thing right is to forgive them and pray for them. It’s definitely freeing and don’t drag you down the rest of the day. I hope everyone has a blessed week as it’s a big one!

My second favorite place to be. My first place being with my amazing wife. This here is where I love meeting God. Separation from the world above the clouds with no distractions and enjoying the views that are so inspiring leads to such a thankful time and enjoyment of being so close to God. Without Him I wouldn’t get to do any of this. Thank you Lord for the many blessing you have given me and continue to give! Place God in the front of your life and make Him a priority and watch what He will do for you.

The pure amazement I get from watching the sun come up from 25,000+ feet above the earth just blows me away. Words will never be able to describe how this feels. Thank you God for the many blessing you give to me daily! Especially the beautiful sunrises!
