Congratulations to Cassidy, our 2026–2027 FFA President! We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments you achieved this past year. Your leadership and commitment continue to inspire our chapter.

Cassidy Camper competes in more than 60 rodeos a year and recently won the all-around and rookie of the year titles at the Ohio High School Rodeo Finals.

🚜 Kiddie Tractor Pull Circuit 🚜

This year the Woodmore FFA is hosting a Kiddie Tractor Pull Circuit. We will be at the Portage River Festival, the Woodville Carnival, and the Ottawa County Fair.  Come on out to support our FFA Chapter!

HAPPY FARM DAY!!! 🌾🐄🚜

What a great Friday! Beautiful weather and wonderful to see our FFA members show off their skills. They were eager to show the next generation everything they’ve learned in ag education. It’s a joy seeing the smiles on the students’ faces as they participate in this opportunity!

Something so simple, yet so elegant! 🌸✨

Our Floriculture Team has done it again (Cassidy, Karli, Sami, Addie, Emma, Hope, McKenzie, and Abby)!! We had the opportunity to create bud vases for the Woodmore Prom, and they turned out fantastic! 💐

The ladies also completed our final Floral Arrangement for the Holidays event, showcasing all of their hard work, creativity, and talent. We are so proud of everything they have accomplished this year!

A huge thank you to Jill Bench from Bench’s Greenhouse for sharing her expertise and continued support with our students. We would also like to thank Ellen Ralston for all of her help and encouragement along the way. We truly couldn’t do it without them! 💙💛

Here is day two of Ohio FFA convention! We spent all morning at OSU visiting their Ag department, a session on Livestock judging(which was absolutely fantastic, thank you Seth), visiting Jesse Owens Stadium, and visiting the Horseshoe. It was a great day even though it rained(in which the girls threw shirts over their head to protect their hair😂😂). Then the long drive back home! It was an absolute blast being with these future leaders! I am excited on what the future holds for our seniors, our members, and our growing chapter!

Thank you to the FFA Alumni for providing funds for our dinner Thursday night and thank you to all those who participated in our fundraising activities that allowed us to make this trip.

What a week it has been!

We kicked things off Monday with our FFA banquet, celebrating all the hard work and accomplishments of our amazing members this year. We’re excited to share that our program received a $5,542.40 grant from the Woodmore Schools Foundation to support future models in our Animal Science class! We are incredibly grateful for this generous gift and the opportunity to continue expanding our agricultural education program. Thank you Woodmore Schools Foundation!

A big thank you as well to Ag Credit for their contributions to our 110% Award, presented to Cassidy! We also appreciate Ag Credit for recognizing Mr. Avers as a Golden Owl honoree.
We will be announcing additional award recipients soon—stay tuned!

🌸We also took time to create a special shadowbox in remembrance of Symini our 2025/2026 Sentinel to hang in our classroom.🌸

Now we’re in Columbus for the 98th Ohio FFA Convention, and it’s been nonstop! From honoring Mr. Avers as a Top 10 Ohio Ag Educator of the Year, to attending sessions and workshops, meeting the National FFA Vice President, doing a little shopping, and even making time for some fun at Topgolf it’s been a full schedule. We’re wrapping up Thursday with dinner at Outback to recharge.
Busy week? Absolutely. Worth it? 100%.
Tomorrow we’re heading to OSU to check out their ag programs can’t wait to see what’s next!
