The kids have been so good helping me get ready for a hard thing we had to do so I got the stuff to make brownie sundaes. Thus begs the question: if you make a sundae on Thursday, should you call it a Thursday instead of a sundae? We are, and it's fun.

Every other year, starting in 3rd grade, our state requires that homeschooled students take a standardized test. Of their approved list, we find the PASS test, from Hewitt Homeschooling, to be the least high stakes and anxiety-inducing. This is Marc's first year doing it. We're doing placement tests today and then getting into it on Monday. Please pray for us all.
