Open Enrollment
Enrollment shall be granted to any child, provided the center can meet the needs of that child, without discrimination in regard to s*x, race, color, creed, or political belief. Enrollment will be on-going throughout the calendar year. Children must be at least 30 months old when enrolled, and not older than age 12. Intake Interview
Before enrolling a child, the parent (s) must att
end a scheduled intake interview. The intake interview should include the following: review of all required forms mandated by OCFS and the daycare; a tour of the facility;
And introduction to staff primarily responsible for the children's care; an overview of classroom programming and goals; a review of the Parent Handbook, outlining the policies and procedures of the daycare; time for parent's) questions. Enrollment And Registration
A child is considered enrolled when all necessary forms are completed, the supply fee has been paid, and a deposit equal to one week of care has been received. Parents must also sign a form acknowledging that they understand the policies and procedures of OFHOPE Daycare Center. There is a registration fee of $20.00 due upon registration of a new child or for re-registration of a child.
