Celebrating future plans of our GST BOCES National Technical Honor Society students from Bush Campus Animal Science.

ANIMAL ADVOCACY CLUB🐶🐱

This will be a brand new club for high school students (ages 15+) who love animals!
Students in the Animal Advocacy Club will:
-Learn what advocacy is and explore its different forms
-Learn basics of companion animal body language, safety, and handling
-Explore the role of animal shelters in communities
-Have free access to an online program that teaches reducing fear/anxiety/stress in animals (certificate of completion given)
-Examine current animal welfare issues in our community
-Create a campaign of their choosing (poster, flyer, etc.) that advocates for companion animals in the community

This will be a free club for older teens to meet twice monthly with meeting times established by its members.

Tomorrow, March 9, join us from 1-4 for the 1st Annual Furry Friends Fundraiser and Open House! Bring the family down to tour our facility, pet some animals, and learn more about our non-profit foundation. Dog & Cat food donations, as well as monetary donations will be accepted.

All donations will go directly to our food pantry that provides families with cat & dog food to ensure even our furry best friends have enough food to eat!
