Heaven gained another angel... Our condolences to Debra A. (Smithmen) Agan's family and friends.Debra of Elmira passed away peacefully at Bampas house of Corning on May 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Born March 31, 1957, in Elmira. She was the youngest daughter of Richard C. Smithmen Sr and Marion T. (Fuller) Smithmen.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Marion Smithmen, her siblings Sharon (Smithmen) Peyton, Gary Smithmen and Richard Smithmen Jr. Debra is survived by her loving partner Leo (Rusty) Stewart, children Sadie (Brandon) Stewart, Cory (Leona) Stewart, Shawn (Amanda) Spicer, Mei Stewart, Grandchildren Garrett and Madelynne Tarby, Paisley Stewart, Nathan Allen and nieces and nephews.
Debra loved to spend time with her family, going camping with her friends, going for motorcycle rides with Rusty and collecting house plants.
We would like to thank the Bampas house their kindness, compassion and especially for taking great care of Debra in her last days.
Debra will be greatly missed.
She asked that no services be held.
