As I am preparing to welcome my kiddos back in the fall and think about how the price of pretty much everything has risen drastically, I considered raising my rates to keep up. However, I don't want to put that additional burden on my families who are experiencing the same thing. I have seen alot of teachers post their Amazon wish lists to help them set up their classrooms and thought I would give it a try. While I don't expect anyone to donate, if you would like to contribute I am sharing my Amazon wish list which includes supplies I use on a regular basis and items I find that I would like to add to my program to enhance our play based curriculum and free play. Last year I started a new end of the year tradition of printing a bunch of pictures from our year together and filling the bulletin board with them. The kiddos love looking at the pictures on the board! Then on our last day together the kiddos look through the extra pictures ( I always print way too many) and choose the ones they would like to take home to keep.

This year I started the year with 6 kiddos who had never met each other. I remember worrying that they would have a hard time forming a bond in such a short period of time. But as I looked through the photos I realized I had nothing to worry about. Like always, we have become a family who cares about each other so much. My favorite part of being a daycare provider is watching their friendships blossom and grow. ❤️
