Dance background: I’ve danced on and off since I was three! I did competitive dance and pointe in middle school, as well as musical theatre, poms, and hip hop in high school.

Hobbies and passions: I love anything creative. Besides choreographing, I especially love to sing and design stage lights. I dabble in graphic design and photography!

Why I love EUDC:
I’ve been apart of EUDC since my first year, and one of my favorite things about it is has always been the wonderful people I’ve met. I’ve been able to push myself and experiment with different styles of choreography for dancers of so many different backgrounds, which makes every year and every piece feel so unique!! It’s just so much fun :)

Member spotlight: meet Aleena Galazka!✨🌸

Year in school: Senior

Major/Minor: ELSA program but I’m also part of the theatre and dance department

Position in exec: Secretary

Other involvement on campus: Bluejay Catholic and Elmhurst Craft Club

Favorite dance styles: Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and Ballet. Jazz is my absolute and most favorite style.

Dance background: I have been dancing for almost 3 years as I used to be a figure skater before I started dancing but I have been doing something performing related almost my whole life. Between EUDC and the dance program, all I do is dance and I’ve never wanted to stop since. It’s never too late to start.

Hobbies and passions: Travel, going out,listen to music, spend time with friends and family, and watch YouTube, tv, and movies.

Why I love EUDC: I love how welcoming and supportive it is. It’s so fun to dance with an amazing group of people that truly love to dance as much as me.
