💛 **Going Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness!** 💛

On Friday, our Fia Mia family was wearing gold to show our support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. 🎗️

Gold represents strength, courage, and hope and we’re filling Fia Mia with a little extra of all three. 💛

Together, we can help raise awareness and remind every child and family facing this journey that they are surrounded by love and support.

☀️ We had the absolute best summer we could’ve dreamed of! ☀️

From foam parties to homemade popsicles, alfresco Fridays, watermelon days, campouts, water days, sports camp, gardening, lemonade stands, and so many little adventures in between… it was a summer packed with fun, friendship, learning, and lots of memories. 💦🍉🍧⚽️

From our tiniest campers at six weeks old all the way to 12 years old, there was something for everyone!

We are feeling incredibly grateful and definitely a little exhausted, as we wrap up the summer! ❤️
Already counting down until we get to do it all again next year! ☀️

🌱🍕 From Garden to Table!

Today our Lakeview friends experienced the full journey from garden to table! We gathered fresh ingredients from our garden, explored how food grows, and then brought everything into the classroom to create our very own pizzas.

The children helped make pizza dough from scratch, add fresh ingredients, cook their pizzas, and—of course—enjoy eating their delicious creations! 👩‍🍳

It was a fun and meaningful way for our Lakeview friends to see how food can travel from our garden all the way to our table. The best part was sharing and enjoying the pizzas they created together! 🍅🍕

🍋 What a fun day of learning! Today our little learners, from infants through 10 years old, explored all things lemons by tasting, squeezing, and discovering through hands-on activities.
We wrapped up the day with The Lakeview Zoo Lemonade Stand! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support our young learners. All proceeds will be donated to Lincoln Park Zoo! 🦁🍋
