Summer Reading! πŸ”› These are four of my FAVORITE fashion books. I’ve read them each cover-to-cover and they are jam packed with essential information in an easy to read and visual format. The Fashion Business Manual-great for anyone looking to start their own fashion business. Covers everything from sourcing to costing and has a lot of insider info you don’t see in other textbooks. πŸ›

Fashionpedia-excellent design resource including lots of flat sketches with garment terminology. πŸ‘—

Textileopedia-amazing resource explaining fibers and fabrics in a practical and tangible format. I recommend to all my college students as most don’t know polyester is derived from oil and think silk is a fabric (it’s a fiber…) 🧢
