Next is Mrs. Alana! I was lucky enough to have both of her amazing kids in my class! Her family has been with us for years so we put her to work 😉 She has such a positive attitude and kind spirit! Alana has been such a great addition to our team and because of her I am more organized than ever!!

My name is Alana Dole and I am a Classroom aide/ Office Secretary at Annunciation Strong Start Prek program. I grew up in Lancaster, NY and attended SUNY Erie where I received my Early Childhood degree. I have worked in the field of Early Childhood on and off for 20 years.
When I married my husband Matt we moved to Elma. I am a mom of a 10 year old boy named Tyler & a 5 year old girl named Everly. Both whom have attended the program & where I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Erin & Mrs Carrie. I was honored when I was asked to join the program after being a Stay at home mom for the last 9 years.
Some facts about me. I enjoy gardening, camping with my family, and just being a mom. I feel blessed to be able to work with such wonderful families & co-worker

Six years ago I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Lisa’s son Giancarlo in my class and I got to know her and her family very well! The care, love, determination, and support she gives her own kids and their education, translates right into the classroom! She is so patient and kind with our little threes and we are so blessed to have her!

Next up is Nicole Hulsman!
Mrs. Nicky is the assistant in the PreK 4 room! She is my other half and I couldn’t function without her! She is extremely caring and thoughtful. She works very hard to make sure each student in our class feels special and heard. Plus, her knowledge of science and agriculture add so much into our curriculum. I am proud to say that because of her, we have the best Pumpkin Jack I have ever seen!

My name is Nicole Hulsman. I have been with Annunciation Strong Start Pre-K for a total of 4 years. My first year was with the 3 year old program. I then had a couple years off when my youngest was born. I am now in the 4 year old room and love it!

I was born and raised in the Elma/Marilla area and I have been a parishioner of Annunciation Church since birth.

I studied Biology and Psychology at ECC and UB. I use my experience with large animals (I used to raise Dairy Goats and have owned horses for most of my life) to create fun enrichment activities. I also love creating art with the children! It is so fun to see through their masterpieces how they each see the world differently.

My husband Sean and I have three children Kendall (15), Liam (11), and Scarlett (5). We are very busy with our farm animals, basketball, gymnastics and so much more. I also have 2 German Shepherds.

My youngest two attended the Strong Start Program and that’s given me the advantage of witnessing their successes both as a parent and as a teacher. I live in Marilla with my kids and husband.
