Kindergarten students at Gardners Elementary recently practiced their coding skills with Beebots. They were coding the Beebots (disguised as old ladies) to a variety of fall objects. Mandy Jenkins, the school's media coordinator, created the activity based on the book, "There was an old lady who swallowed some leaves!" by Lucille Colandro.

Our Candy Man Fundraiser ends on Monday, October 5th. Please include the total amount collected at the bottom of your collection form. Your student only needs to bring back the envelope, collection form, and money. We don’t need the catalogs back.

A big thank you to Ms. Huneycutt for coming to Gardners and working with our 5th grade classes! Our students had the opportunity to explore the water cycle in an exciting, interactive way using Merge Cubes. 💦📱

Students are invited to participate in the Warbirds Science of Baseball program powered by Johnson & Johnson! 🔬⚾

Have you ever wondered why some bats hit farther than others or what role friction plays in baseball? This unique opportunity allows students to explore the science behind the game while making real-world connections between physical science and baseball.

Participants will receive:
• Expanded knowledge of how Physical Science relates to baseball
• A certificate of completion
• Two tickets to a Wilson Warbirds game upon completion
• The opportunity to experience batting practice like a Warbirds player

This engaging program combines STEM learning and sports to help students discover how science impacts every aspect of the game.
