48 Star Flag found at Lincoln High School and given to me for preservation. This flag was the official flag at assemblies and graduations at LHS before and during WWII.
This flag was used from 1912 until 1959 when Alaska entered the Union. In 1960 the 49 star flag was retired when Hawaii entered the Union as the 50th State.
