My February student of the month is Oliver!

Ollie has been taking lessons for less than a year but comes from a musical family with an aunt and grandfather rockin piano skills.

Hes attentive and grasps things quickly, always has a smile on his cute little face, and is already reading real music.

My Student of the Month for November is Sarah!
Sarah has been taking lessons for less than a year, pays attention to detail, always takes constructive criticism well, and has overcome a bit of nervousness playing when others can hear. She's also 1 of only 5 adult students I currently have.
She's a busy working mama with her own children to tend to and she still gives serious effort to making time for piano and improving upon her skills!
Congrats Sarah.. you shining star, you!

Aurora recently had her first waltz piece assigned to her, and her grandmother informed me that she loved practicing it. So when she came in for her lesson, and played it so well, I knew we had to do a duet with it.

I'm not sure that there's anything better than a student finding a song that confirms their love for playing piano 💚

Aurora loved this song so much, she asked if she could have more waltzs to practice and if she could play one at the recital :)

My October Student of the Month is Parker!

Parker has only been with me a few months, and came to me with a ton of musical knowledge already, but he's excelled even further in the short time I've been teaching him. Parker is very observant, has great tone recognition, and likes to play classical and pop music. He also likes to conversate about all the different glasses I wear, the holes in my ear lobes, my bug tattoos, and my multi colored hair! These students dont miss a thing and I love that they find me so interesting 🤣

Congratulations Parker! Keep on shining!

My August Student of the Month is Addy :)
Shes been taking lessons for just about a year now, shes got a great ear for tone recognition and is always playing me songs shes figured out (particularly Beatles songs). Addy is always happy and energetic and loves to learn! She also likes to point out that we wear the same exact shoes which makes us both very cool chicks!

Gabriella is my Student of the Month for July! She's been taking lessons for almost a year now, she's quiet and attentive, and always pays attention to details. Gabriella is already reading real music and moving through the levels like a star!
