🎶 SMALL SCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS … BIG SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES!

At Ellsworth Community School, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to explore their talents, express their creativity, and experience the pride that comes from being part of something bigger than themselves.

For a school our size, we are extremely proud to offer band instruction to all students in grades 5-12.

Under the direction of veteran band director Mr. Martin, our middle school and high school band programs continue to provide students with exceptional musical opportunities and experiences. This spring, both the Ellsworth Middle School Band and the Ellsworth High School Band earned Division I ratings at the annual band festival—an accomplishment that reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of our student musicians and their director.

Participation in band helps students develop discipline, teamwork, creativity, confidence, and lifelong skills that extend far beyond the classroom or stage.

At Ellsworth Community School, our small size allows us to provide opportunities that help students discover their passions and achieve excellence.

🏫 SMALL SCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS … BIG SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES!

At Ellsworth Community School, we believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when students have the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and connect with their community.

One of the ways we do that is through Lancer Leap, our annual project-based learning experience for students in grades 6-12.

This year, students participated in a wide variety of hands-on experiences, including:

🛶 Canoe Building
🤝 Volunteering in the Community
🎭 Theater and Performance
🌲 Outdoor Adventures
…and many more unique learning opportunities.

Lancer Leap allows students to step beyond the traditional classroom to discover new interests, develop practical skills, build relationships, and gain experiences that will stay with them long after graduation.

At Ellsworth Community School, our small size allows us to create big opportunities for every student.
