UMA Ellsworth Center

Please pass this along to anyone that may need these services. Also, we have a fully stocked food pantry, you may help yourself, there are no limits to what you take, we just ask that you bring your own bags.

The UMA Ellsworth Center will be closed on Friday in Observance of Juneteenth and will reopen on Monday, June 22nd at 8am.

The roofing company are working near the Center's entrance, please take great caution if you plan to come to the Center as they are lifting things over the door and are discarding things from the roof beside the door.

Our Center Director, Lori Googins, spoke with the construction team regarding the upcoming roofing project, which they anticipate will last about two months.

We are hopeful that our end of the building will be addressed first to ensure minimal impact on our students, but we will keep you updated as we learn more. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Mini Skellsworth decided that after a tough workout, it was time to take advantage of our lounge space! 🏋️‍♂️💀

We have a comfy couch and chairs ready for you to take a relaxing break between classes or play a round of solitaire. Want to dive into a game? Just lift the lid on the ottoman Skellsworth is chilling on! Inside, you'll find a deck of cards—with a backgammon game and a cribbage board coming soon!

For anyone heading to the UMA Ellsworth Center tomorrow, please be aware that the new owners of the Mill Mall will be doing roof repairs. Portions of the parking lot and certain driving throughways may be temporarily blocked or unavailable. Please allow yourself a little extra time to find parking!

Mini Skellsworth has decided to utilize our center! In case you are unaware, we have a fantastic wellness space available for you. The space includes:
- Cardio & Strength: A treadmill, recumbent exercise bike, balance ball, and free weights.
- Guided Workouts: Workout exercises posted on the wall (perfect if Wall Pilates is your go-to routine!).
- Media & Classes: A laptop connected to the TV, making it easy to put on a workout video or sign up for the free Yoga classes offered through UMA starting in the fall.
