UMA is proud to be part of the incredible legacy Northeast Delta Dental and Northeast Delta Foundation have built by investing in healthier communities across our region.

This partnership is making a lasting difference at UMA, including $665,000 supporting the expansion of our Lewiston dental clinic, and $100,000 in scholarships for Dental Assisting and EFDA students through June 2028.

Additional investments include supporting our 3D Dental Printing Lab and innovative dental technology, as well as a $210,000 Dental Hygiene Workforce Development Fund providing scholarships, licensure and exam fee assistance, and emergency support for students.

Together, we’re building Maine’s dental workforce and expanding access to care.

This past weekend our CL-2 Invited Mini Skellsworth to accompany her family to Cobscook State Park to watch her son participate in the International Cobscook / Moosehorn Camporee with Scouting America! He had a great time but was concerned that her dog might take a little bit more interest in him than he liked. Fortunately her dog was more interested in the squirrels! The weather was great and there were many scouts to cheer on both from the United States and from Canada! The kids had a great time and mini feels very relaxed and ready to continue to tackle this semester's classes!
