Tiala Taylor was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri. Now enjoying more than a decade as a professional teaching artist and movement specialist, her role in the dance industry is ever evolving. She is the proud founder of Tart Techniques & Entertainment, known for orchestrating high-quality experiences and exemplary dance events seen worldwide.
Tiala trained at various competitive studios, on accredited dance teams, at COCA, and earned her BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Contemporary from Lindenwood University. She continues to be a lifelong student of the art. Tiala's involvement in the dance community spans a variety of genres. In addition to being a regular instructor throughout the St. Louis area, she is a well-known director, choreographer, and soloist. She is a passionate advocate for mothers and youth, utilizing the power of the arts to create positive change in their lives and communities.
Tiala's greatest accomplishments are her three beautiful children: Aarilynn, Rieyen, and Toreyn. These "ART kids" have changed her life for the better in every way possible and have made her the artist you see today.
