📣 Business & Community Partners — We Need You!

Ellinwood Grade School is launching our “Attendance Matters” campaign, and we’d love for our local businesses and organizations to be part of it!

Each month, we will select a random school day when every student who is present will have a chance to win a prize. 🎉 Our goal is simple: encourage students to be at school, ready to learn, and remind them that every day counts!

We are looking for local businesses, organizations, and community members willing to donate prizes for our monthly attendance drawings.

🎁 Prizes could include:
• Gift cards
• Free meals or treats
• Small merchandise or products
• Tickets or experiences
• Coupons or certificates
• Or anything else you think our students would enjoy!

Your donation doesn't have to be big to make a big impact. A small prize can be a huge incentive for a child and an opportunity for our students to learn that our community values their education and their commitment to showing up.

And just like that… we’re back!
The halls are filled with laughter, learning, catching up with friends, and all the excitement that comes with a brand-new school year. We’ve loved seeing our students walk through the doors ready to learn, grow, and make memories!

📢 Phone/Internet Update – Ellinwood Grade School

Grade School phone service will remain down for the remainder of the day. All calls to the Grade School will continue to be forwarded to the MS/HS office, where staff can provide assistance and get in contact with the Grade School office as needed.

📢 Ellinwood Grade School – Phone & Internet Outage Notice
On Thursday, August 20, Ellinwood Grade School will experience a temporary phone and internet outage beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. and lasting into the early afternoon.
During this time, calls to the Grade School will be forwarded to the Middle/High School office. Staff there will be able to provide assistance and get in contact with the Grade School office as needed.
The outage is necessary while a crew relocates fiber to accommodate the building addition taking place as part of the Secure Entry Bond Project.
We will send out an update as soon as phone and internet services are back up and running.

We are so grateful for our abundance of backpacks donated to EGS from the United Way Stuff the Bus. If your EGS student is needing a new backpack, be sure to pick it out at our Back to School Open house next Tuesday!
