Our musical Kickoff is next week! Don’t forget to fill out the Google form if you are an HS student. Pay attention to this page for any schedule or location changes due to ongoing construction at the HS.

High school music students, we need you to join us for the musical kickoff in the choir room on 8/4 & 8/11 from 9am-11am.

You will learn more about the musical, including the characters and songs, and begin the auditioning/casting process.

We expect you to attend both sessions as you are available. We’re sharing this information now so you can plan and schedule accordingly.

These musicians need a special shout out- the Mystic Blues are stronger than ever, continuing to leave a lasting legacy in Ellinwood. These kids were on a bus by 6 am to sing at state music and receive an almost perfect rating (78/80), were told by their judge they were one of the best groups he’d heard all day, and then they turned around to come back and perform an outstanding After Dinner Theatre to a packed audience! The process isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, but I am so proud of them as their director to see the progress they have made and the goals we continue to set and exceed. Music is shining bright in Ellinwood, and these kids are a perfect example of hard work and dedication to achieve excellence.
