Well...let's see if I can write this without shedding a tear...
A HUGE thank you to our incredible Color Run volunteers!
What everyone saw on Color Run day was the fun, the smiles, the color, and the excitement.
What they didn’t see was the many, many hours of work that happened behind the scenes to make it all possible.
From our amazing principal, who took more than a few pies to the face than anyone anticipated to our day of volunteers and our Color Run Committee!
And especially to our incredible organizers, Chelsea Barr and Jen Kupiec, this event was powered by people who gave so much of their time and energy. There were endless group texts. Constant communication. Problem-solving. Troubleshooting. Last-minute changes. Pivoting when things didn’t go as planned. Being available at all hours. And countless little details that had to come together to make one big, amazing day happen.
And then came our volunteers on the day of the event. The smiling faces greeting our families, helping wherever they were needed, keeping things moving, and most importantly, loving on our kids and making them feel celebrated. ❤️
This event took a village, and our village showed up BIG.
To every person who planned, organized, communicated, carried, cleaned, directed, smiled, cheered, got covered in color, took a pie, solved a problem, or simply said, “What do you need me to do?”
