Attention parents! As I’m sure you are aware, there is widespread power outage. If the power at the daycare is not restored by 11:30am, we are obligated to close. Please be making arrangements to pick up your child early in the event power is not restored.

Urgent notice:
Monday April 7, 2025

Due to the heavy rainfall, our playground and building have flooded. We will not be able to open today. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will open normal hours on Tuesday. Please be understanding and not take your frustrations out by being angry and rude to the staff. They are working hard to handle an unexpected situation.

Thursday March 6, 2025
Due to concern for black ice on the roads, we will delay opening until 8 AM. Please use caution when traveling and stay safe.

Fortunately roads are dry! The wind is very cold though. Bundled up before you head out and obviously be cautious of icy patches. We’ll open normal hours today. We will keep you posted if our closing hours need to change, but we’re planning for normal at this time. 6am-6pm

We are hiring for several lead teacher positions.
Training will be provided to the appropriate candidates. If you have a good attitude, love kids and are willing to learn, starting pay is $12/hour
Once your training is complete and you receive your TCC/Certificate as a lead teacher, pay is $14/hour
For candidates that already have a TCC/CDA with experience as a lead teacher, pay is $15/hour

If you have your own children who will need to attend daycare during your shift, please let us know so that we can discuss options. We love young Moms with children!

Mountain Academy Friends, Please help us spread the word! Our precious Mr. Daniel is going to be leaving us, so we need help in the kitchen! Our menus are set in advance, so its fairly basic preparation for breakfast and lunch for our great kiddos. The hours are 6AM to 1PMish, sometimes 2:00PM. We do participate in the USDA Food Program and we can provide the required training.
Starting pay $12/hour, basic cooking skills required.
