As the school year draws to a close, the Glenelg Country School community has spent the past two weeks celebrating milestones across every division. From the Primary School’s Kindergarten Celebration to the Middle School’s Grade 8 Closing Ceremony, and from the Lower and Upper School Academic Awards Ceremonies to countless end-of-year traditions, each event has marked a meaningful step in our students’ journeys.

Tomorrow, those celebrations culminate with Glenelg Country School’s 38th Commencement Ceremony as we honor the 62 members of the Class of 2026, including six students who have attended GCS since kindergarten. We look forward to celebrating this remarkable class as they take their next steps beyond GCS.

GCS Destination Imagination teams had an incredible showing at Global Finals in Kansas City! 🌍🐉 Three teams earned special recognition, including top-three finishes for Ride or D.I. and J3&Co., while TECHnically a Team received a prestigious DaVinci Award for exceptional creativity and risk-taking. School spirit was on full display at this week’s All School Relay! 🏃💨🐉 After an exciting morning of competition on Wednesday, the final result ended in a split decision with the Glens taking the girls race and the Elgs claiming the boys race. Congrats to all of the racers. And remember, that no matter the result, we are all Dragons.
