Band Geeks and Nerds Unite! We're in rehearsal with the Dr. Beat relentlessly driving away, trying to stop the ensemble from rushing. When my usually rock-solid flute section takes off like a startled c**t, I turn to them and say "Et tu, Fluté?" I assure them that this would be funny, if they only knew Shakespeare, when my euphonium player follows up with "Especially given today's date!" Whahahahaha! [Sometimes] I love working with kids.

So proud of our FQMS Gold Jazz Band musicians who, along with the Glenwood MS Jazz Ensemble, opened for the Glenelg Jazz Ensemble and Color Guard at the “Jazz Under the Stars”! Everybody sounded great!
