Success story. We love our SpellRead families.

The difference we see at home is miraculous. Before she started she generally refused to read to herself and often would even let us read to her. Her birthday was in October and her "must have" present list was all books. She now reads for pleasure and her confidence while reading out loud is much better. It's not an overstatement to say we are thrilled with her progress.

She also had this to say about the SpellRead reading intervention her son is receiving:

My son, Jeremy, has been challenged in reading since Kindergarten. He has done very well in other subjects and has always been a good student. But reading, writing and spelling has always been off. We were always told this is normal, he can comprehend, so nothing to worry about. He’s been tutored in reading since second grade. He is now in fifth grade. We got serious this year when a family friend, who is a reading specialist, told us how far behind his reading level was. She said, go to SpellRead, no other option. We did, and have not thought twice about the decision.
When our son started this school year (5th grade), he was evaluated by the school reading specialist and was on the third grade reading level, shocking! We were disappointed, however, we set up our sessions with Ms. Gale at SpellRead and by the end of quarter 2, he was at the beginning of the 5th grade level, based on the school’s evaluation system. We feel that this is due to the instruction of Ms. Gale at SpellRead! We cannot express how important it is to go with your gut and have your child evaluated if they are not showing signs of being on grade level in school. Go to SpellRead. You will be glad you did!
