Today in STEM, our designers worked together to build their own LEGO corn mazes! Their goals:
🤝 Practice teamwork, communication, and compromise
🧱 Design a maze that a mini figure could walk through — complete with twists, turns, and a few tricky dead ends!

It’s amazing to see how much problem-solving, spatial thinking, and collaboration can happen with a handful of bricks! 💛💚

I’ve been having so much fun with my little after school maker club. Our first project was sewing a doughnut pillow. Some of them didn’t want to add holes to the middle, which I told them was totally fine. These are the first four completed pillows. Even though we’ve had about 1 million sewing machine malfunctions, I’m loving the way they’re turning out!

What used to be a concrete jungle outside of my classroom has turned into something completely beautiful! I am so blessed to work at a school where visions come to fruition and passionate teachers are rarely told no when they have innovative ideas. This space will be used by students of all ages. They will help to grow fruits and vegetables in the raised garden beds while learning about agriculture. They will help take care of the plants and herbs growing on the garden wall. Teachers love to come out here to eat their lunch and enjoy the beautiful view!
