Tonight at 6 PM at Ellerbe Middle School our band and chorus students will present our Spring Concert.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to hear rehearsal this semester and observed steady progress from these groups and look forward to an outstanding concert this evening.

On School Lunch Hero Day, EMS would like to thank our School Lunch Hero’s, Mrs. Lana Grant and Mrs. Melia Jones for their outstanding work in our school cafeteria. There’s more to their jobs than many know and we are ever thankful for dedication and commitment to our school.

Today and everyday they are our School Lunch Hero’s.

Congratulations to our EMS School Support Staff Person of the Year Mrs. Jennifer Kerekes - our amazing school counselor.

We had the students help surprise her this afternoon. Last week we told everyone it was her birthday - it’s actually in October, so the kids kept that going until I told her she had won.

I taught Jennifer when she was in 8th grade and I am immensely proud to know that is she making a tremendous impact at Ellerbe Middle.
