My strengths lie in my ability to sit down and find out where the problem is, formulate a plan and work from there. As a computer professional, my methods not only include tutoring by word of mouth, but finding creative solutions such as physical or computer games. I also believe that certain students only need a bit of encouragement and a change of setting. I have tutored elementary school studen

I have proficiency in the following subject areas: computer programming (C, C++, Java, Perl, Prolog, Lisp, Jess, Basic, Pascal, SQL, HTML), Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics), Computers (Typing, Microsoft Office), and Psychology (Introduction to Psychology). My professional experience includes a year as a computer science teacher where I taught grades 1 through 8 word processing, theory of computing, spreadsheet, typing and introduction to programming. I spent three months as an information technology teacher where I taught high school students keyboarding skills and introduction to computing theory and practice. My Education includes a Bachelor's in Computer Science, an Associate Degree in Computer Science, and a Associate Degree in Psychology. In process - Masters in Information Systems, Software Engineering Management.
