Philosophy and Religious Studies Club will be having a Movie Showing tomorrow afternoon @ 3:00 pm in our new meeting room, Samuelson 102.

We will be showing the 1996 movie Fargo, directed and produced by the Cohen Brothers.

Philosophy and Religious Studies Club will be holding the first meeting of Winter Quarter tomorrow afternoon (Jan. 17) @ 3:00 pm in Samuelson 102.

We will be discussing the Philosophy of Money! We will touch on why people invented currency, how we use money, as well as the imperceptible value of money and what it means to us.

Come and join us! We are always open to new members and believe everyone has something valuable to say. No pun intended :)

P&RS Club will be having a Movie Showing this Monday in Dean 103 @ 5:00 pm. We will be showing Angels and Demons and we will also be providing pizza. Check out the link below to find information about the movie.

Philosophy & Religious Studies club will be holding a regular meeting in Dean 106 @ 5:00 pm. In this meeting Nils and Michael will be leading a discussion inspired by a podcast called “The Philosopher’s Zone”.

The club will be discussing topics along the line of how Sigmund Freud viewed Philosophy, Philosophers, and how he might have philosophized himself. If you would like to listen to the podcast episode on this topic, follow the link below!

This evening P&RS Club will be having a Halloween themed movie night! 🍿
We will be meeting in Dean 103 @ 5 pm this evening!

We will be providing pizza for members or anyone who would to join us tonight! So if you want to pop in to watch or just to grab a few bites, come through!

Movie description: Young Victor Frankenstein (Charlie Tahan) is a science nerd and outsider at school, but he does have one good friend: his dog, Sparky. But then, tragedy strikes, and Sparky shuffles off this mortal coil. Victor is heartbroken, but his science teacher (Martin Landau) gives him an idea of how to jolt old Sparky back to life. The experiment is successful, and all goes well, until Victor's fellow students steal his secret and use it to resurrect other dead animals -- with monstrous consequences.
