Today, Central Washington University launches the Futures Campaign.

On October 2nd, CWU leadership, state lawmakers, Yakama Nation representatives, and generous donors gathered alongside the campus community for the ribbon-cutting of the new North Academic Commons (NAC)!

Remarks from CWU President Jim Wohlpart, university leaders, and key partners highlighted how community investment shapes the future of higher education. Dynamic spaces inside, like the Ben and Nancy Remak College of Arts and Humanities Advising Center, showcase the power of philanthropy by bringing academic support, collaboration, and student-centered resources directly to where learning happens.

Strong partnerships build a brighter future for Central Washington.

Thanks to generous continued support from Comprehensive Healthcare, Central Washington University is adding a new faculty position to support our Mental Health Counseling graduate program.

This investment directly expands program capacity, helps tackle critical regional healthcare shortages, and advances our goal toward national CACREP accreditation. Together, we’re shaping the highly skilled behavioral health leaders our region needs most.
