Morgan's page is provided for the district community in order to provi
de information to students, parents and members of the community regarding breaking news items, including but not limited to school closures, and to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, staff and community partners. Neither Morgan nor the Ellensburg School District express approval or support for the views expressed by third-parties. The District reserves the right to remove inappropriate comments. This includes comments that have obscene language or sexual content, threaten or defame any person or organization, violate the legal ownership interest of another party, support or oppose political candidates or ballot propositions, promote illegal activity, promote commercial services or products, or are not topically related to the particular posting, or contain contents that promote, foster, or perpetuate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation. All content must be directly and materially relevant to school and District-sponsored content that invites public comment or responses. Content may only use language, style and tone generally acceptable for publications intended to reach school-aged children and families, and that is consistent with the District’s educational mission generally and its goals of teaching civility, respect, and reasoned dialogue, which aligns with Board civility policies: No. 3206 - Students Policy, No. 4011 - Community Policy, and No. 5282 - Personnel Policy. Content that is false, harassing, threatening, abusive, vulgar, indecent, obscene, defamatory, libelous, or harmful to minors in any way; content that involves misrepresentations or personal attacks; and content that demeans or disparages an individual or group of individuals, is prohibited and will be removed. Persons may not make allegations or disclose personal information regarding students. Content may not include advertising, promotion of commercial services or products, solicitation of funds for any purpose, or statements in support or opposition of political candidates or ballot propositions. Posting links to web sites or other electronic content, unless inherent in the social network involved, is prohibited.
