CWU EQuAl

CWU EQuAl Equality through Queers & Allies is the LGBTQIA+ group on CWU's campus to provide a safe & welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and beyond.

We meet every Tuesday from 5-6pm in Black 105. See you there! EQuAl stands for Equality through Queers and Allies. It is a student organization part of the Equity & Services Council (ESC) at Central Washington University. EQuAl is a student-run organization dedicated to providing a safe space for all, free of assumptions, where all identities are recognized and diversity is celebrated.

We will be honoring trans day of remembrance, 11/20.

We encourage you to attend the exhibit at the CWU museum of culture and environment (In Dean hall, right next to the library) at 4:30, they're partnering with TransRural Lives.

at 6:00, we will be gathering at the library to march to the SURC pit and host an event involving the reading of names of trans individuals who have lost their lives to violence in the past year, and and open floor for anyone in attendance to discuss their experiences.

All of our performers did a wonderful job kicking off an amazing Pride Week. We are so sad to see it come to an end but excited for the rest of Pride Month! Thank you all for a great year full of fun memories! See you next year!
