Happy National Aviation Day! ✈️

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible fleet that helps CWU Aviation students turn their passion for flying into hands-on experience.

Did you know?

✈️ CWU operates a fleet of 19 aircraft, including 14 Piper Archers equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi avionics.

✈️ Students train in Piper Seminoles for multiengine experience and use a Cessna 172R for spin training.

✈️ CWU also has six flight simulators—including four that replicate the Piper Archers students fly.

From the simulator to the cockpit, Wildcats are preparing to soar into careers across the aviation industry! 🐾

From welcoming new students to cheering at athletic events, Wellington is always ready with a high five, a photo, and plenty of Wildcat pride.

If you see Wellington around campus, be sure to say hello! ❤️🐾

August in Ellensburg means the great outdoors are calling. ⛰️ This week, we’re throwing it back to the 1920's! Check out this family camping near the old ski jump, built by the Cle Elum Ski Club. ⛷️
