Unfortunately, many CWU students report experiencing some form of domestic/dating violence. While our CWU data focuses on men and women, national data tells us that trans and nonbinary folks also experience domestic/dating violence at high rates.

We want our campus to be a safe place that doesn’t tolerate any form of violence. How can you prevent domestic violence from happening? How could you help a friend who was experiencing domestic violence?

PATH gives students tools to have safe, healthy, fulfilling relationships. Next week, we’ll be talking about healthy vs. unhealthy relationships. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in building a culture that supports healthy relationships. Take care, Wildcats!

For those who don’t know much about domestic violence, we encourage you to learn, ask questions, and use this information to Step Up! and be an agent of change in your community.

For those who have been impacted by any form of interpersonal violence, we encourage you to engage with this content as you are willing and able to.
