2nd graders visited the Ellendale fire station in celebration of fire prevention week. The students learned what to do in case of a fire: how to get out, plan a meeting spot and remember firefighters are there to help you. This year the special topic was about lithium batteries and making sure to unplug items we charge when the battery is full.

🎃👻 Halloween fun is coming to New Richland! 👻🎃

Start the weekend with Hide-n-Seek from the Police on Friday, Oct. 30 — a fun event for all ages! 🚓🔦
Then on Saturday, Oct. 31, bring the kids to Halloween Kidsfest from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at New Richland City Hall for games, candy, crafts, prizes, and our costume contest!

Our NRHEG Color Run is coming up on October 24th, and we’d love for your family to join us for a fun afternoon supporting a great cause! This event is a fundraiser for our inclusive playground, helping us create a space where all of our students can play, explore, and enjoy time together.
