Here’s the grand champion trophies for this weekend’s Festival on the River band competition being hosted by Herbert Hoover’s band. These trophies were made by Zach Martin and Bradley Kidd. They feature solid 1-1/2” walnut base with chamfered edges, a 3/4” walnut sub base, and the plaque is hard maple inlayed into walnut. All pieces were glued up and processed by Bradley and Zach. They used the CNC router to cut the pocket for the inlay and to cut the shape into the sub bases. They used the laser engraver to burn the logo into the maple plaque.
