Meet Mrs. Shaffer!

Mary Shaffer has been with Elk Valley Christian School for 3 years, but this is her first year on the elementary side! She is also our senior staff sponsor this year.

When we asked Mary about her favorite memory from her school days, she said, "Its hard to choose because I've always loved school! But something that changed my life was during my senior year, I had the opportunity to graduate early or stay and become the teacher's assistant for the special needs classroom. I chose to stay and getting to spend my days in the special education classroom grew my heart immensely. Now, I am thankful to get to love my students and teach them about Jesus!"

We are so thankful for Mrs. Shaffer! 💚🦅💛

We Remember.

On Patriot Day, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the brave men and women who responded with courage and sacrifice.

May we teach the next generation to remember not only the tragedy, but also the strength, compassion, and unity our nation displayed in its aftermath.
