The 15th day of the eighth lumar month is 中秋节，the Mid-Autumn Festival (aka Moon Festival). It's this Sunday!! We eat moon cakes and hang out with family in China. 中秋节快乐！Happy Moon Festival!

A relatively new Chinese hot pot place in Arlington VA. We tried a few dishes, not hot pot, and they are ok. I hear the hot-pots are good though. These are small pot and everybody can get their own pot and flavor.

Foot binding: 缠足 (chahn zuu) was a Chinese tradition to make women more lady-like. It's supposed to make their movement more feminine but many women suffered disability of their feet when they got older.
